RelationS

I dont believe in this….I dont believe in u either…..Why do you mean soo much to me? I never thought that that you were loving or caring ...........not even once….But I knew that u liked being with me b'coz you've told me a number of times about how lonely and bored you were before we had met and how much u enjoyed spending long hours with me (only over the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!) .

You dint have an idiot in your hostel room but wasn’t I a better substitute??? You have always taken me for granted and everything I had done for you dint mean a thing to you. You were bothered only about u .You want the world to dance to your tune.

I just think dat I've never met you ...........you are just a sweet sound to my ears. You will always be my unseen baby. My baby who had loved to play with me but never did love me. You’ve always made your stance in our relationship clear right from the beginning .I was your time pass but next to your favorite books.

This is about the present situation …dont u think most of our friends in our colleges used these kinda dialogues……may b some among us also used it….Just think of the situation of the gal…I mean when ever someone dumps her…Is it fair to just make a gal go crazy about u and dump her cos u‘ve got a new gal friend….and dat may take few days or even years for dat gal to recover from dis…and few may even take a extreme step….okk…not only gals even d guys too…but I’ve mentioned bout gals cos I know…We know dat we guys are more responsible for break ups than vice versa….

Chatting for hours n hours doesn’t mean that they found their love…Wat he says may/may not be the truth…simply believing wat someone says is one of the main reason for split up….Y don ppl think of a serious relationship dat doesn’t go wrong….ok wat I’m saying may b bit crazy but y don d gals think of this kinda issues twice or thrice…before deciding he is the ri8 one…..yaa many think of that yes he is d ri8 guy for me & some other stuff…give yurself some more time and make d final decision so that u ppl never split….

Well dis is wat I think…i donno wat really made me write this kinda blog…..Guys I’m not against u…but plz think of these issues don’t dump a gal for some foolish reasons…

ANIL KUMBLE

Profile

Full Name - Anil Radhakrishna Kumble
Birthday - Oct 17, 1970
Birth Place - Bangalore
Country - India
Batting - Right hand batsman
Bowling - Right arm leg-break googly bowler
ODI Debut -India vs Sri Lanka, at Sharjah, on 25/4/90
Test Debut -India v England at Manchester, 2nd Test, 1990

552 wickets in Test, 337 wickets in One day international matches. What else as a bowler would you dream of and what more would you expect from a team member?

When I saw him taking his one of his career best, 6 wickets for 12 runs ( I don't remember the oponent and place he was playing). The next day, I started to mimic his action, his style of bowling, his type of deliveries, and those goggly's. There were a lot of critics, but he fought against them. His effort in the field, his dedication towards the game, his tactics have made me a big fan for him. I still copy his action and style of bowling, when it comes to big level and tensed matches.

Rahul Dravid.

The game CRICKET can be new to a greater percentage of the population on earth, but no one knows how hard it is playing the game.

“Cricket is played by eleven idiots and watched by 11,000 fools.” – said a great person, but I really wonder, what factors made him feel this.

In the game of cricket, team work is one of the main aspects for victory. The captain of the team is responsible for the team to work together. Though the game needs some individual performances from the players, its one of the most difficult task of the captain to get the team work together rather than improve the skills of an individual.

Not just as a captain, I do admire Rahul Dravid as an individual too. The way he faces tensed moments on the field, the way he handles pressure situations and the way he talks to his team members and motivates them has inspired me a lot. He always leads the team from front, always plays a captain’s knock and he is with every single member of the team, off the field and on the field.

“Jammie” as people call him, started his career in a small town and struggled a lot to get into the national team. He then started his professional career, which was a failure in the beginning. But he later came up facing all the tasks and now he is one of the top rated batsmen in the world of cricket and he stands next to few great all time players. These qualities in him, the never say die attitude and the hard working nature made me a big fan for his game and as an individual. I learnt these few qualities from him and started developing this attitude in me.

Known as “The Wall” and “Mr. Dependable” of cricket, Dravid has always been the root of victories for many games. He is now a threat to the greatest bowlers of all teams. A for sure player in the world XI squad of present players.

Performance of Mobile Web Services using WAP

Internet has helped man a lot in a variety of fields using the web-pages. We need to have an access to a computer in-order to use the internet, but this is not possible every time.
Then comes the generation of mobile phones, which were easy to carry, portable and secured. Implementing the concept of Internet and Web Pages in mobiles is actually the core of this paper.
Web pages offer the user an accessible interface using a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc.). Presently there are web pages which are user interface independent.
Due to the hardware and bandwidth limitations such as slow CPU’s, small memories, small displays, cell phones (mobiles) which have an access to internet cannot support all the web pages. Any cell phone has to be G. P. R. S. enabled for it to get an access to the internet through its service provider and it has to be W. A. P. enabled too.
G. P. R. S. → General Packet Radio Service.
W. A. P.→ Wireless Application Protocol.
Integrating web services into mobile devices has major restrictions. Mobile communication systems like the G. P. R. S. and U. M. T. S. , imply limited bandwidth and high latency.
“This paper aims at presenting an alternative solution to access web services from mobile clients using W. A. P., as well as a performance analysis of this solution compared to access visa HTTP from java capable mobiles.”

Mobile Web Services:-
The dependencies of the different technologies used by Web Services are depicted to each other as shown in the figure above using the U. M. L. notation.
To access web services from a mobile phone, a SOAP implementation and a transport implementation are necessary. For this reason, java applications are used because most of the cell phones support JVM. “Currently, two SOAP client implementations for J2ME capable devices are known, Wingfoot SOAP and kSOAP.”
The HTTP and the TCP are not ideal solutions for mobile devices. Hence the Wireless Session Protocol has been developed and is being used.

WAP Transport Implementation :-
The WAP implementation has been mainly split into three parts:
The lower level constructs and determines the octet stream for encoded P. D. U.’s and vice versa. The layer above this sends and receives P. D. U’s to and from the network using U. D. P. packets. The top level conveys SOAP data from the application to the web service and vice versa.
Performance Analysis :-
The factors that affect the performance of a mobile application are mainly the CPU power and main memory with the network of the service provider.
In this context the performance criteria are latency, data transfer volume, memory footprint and CPU power requirements.
Conclusion :-
The performance of the mobile applications is still a main criterion and is still to be improved. The latency and CPU power are a major consideration.

The Prestige

Movie Name: THE PRESTIGE

Location: Hollywood theaters ,St.Joseph, MO, 64506

Directed by: Christopher Nolan

Cast: Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine

Photos: Photo Gallery

My Review: The movie on a whole is GOOD. I don't understand why the director has spoiled the climax. I mean the taking of the last part of the movie hardly impressed me. The way he got the thought for the story line and the way he approached was really great. But still in the end, he did not impress me in the climax.

Hugh Jackman was simply good, so was Christian Bale. From my view, Michael Caine played an important role which was'nt highlighted. As per the story: Hugh who plays Robert Angier, a great magician of his type and time, Christian Bale plays Alfred Borden also known as The Transporter Man in the movie, are both magicians. They start as friends, A Friendship That Turns to Rivalry. A Rivalry that becomes a Battle. And this battle leads to the death of the cast one by one.

Michael Caine who plays Cutter, is the chief organizer of events of a magician under whom Angier and Borden are assistants. He keeps saying one thing through out the movie "Every great Magic trick has three acts behind it:
(1) The Pledge
(2) The Turn
(3) THE PRESTIGE

The pledge is where every magician shows his audience something true. The turn is where he shows something not unique. And when he trys doing this, then comes the "THE PRESTIGE".

Well personally I like the movie a lot, just that the ending(climax) did not impress me a lot.

To know whats there in the movie, you have to check that on the big screen.

MY NEW LIFE

6th May, 2006:- It all happened that Mr.X in the US Counslate says "Go Home , you will get your visa in another few days." ( Trust me, I was on cloud 9, dancing on the roads of chennai).
Now I did wanted this to happen but not so early. I was in Banglore till the 4th of May and been to Chennai for my visa interview.
Anyways, it all happened. This should have occured atleast sometime in my life and it did, but a little early.
Came back home on the 7th of May, and got bangings, SMS's and emails all scolding me, friends came home running towards me just to kick me. Its all because most of them did'n knew that I was appearing for the visa interview, well people who knew that also joined them just because it was the only time they got to kick me.Well finally its all done.

9th May, 2006:- Exactly twenty years back a kid was born, and now he's on a hightime of his life. Lucky in every damn single field he enters. And that kid now is typing you all this. It was my birthday and my mom calls me and says "CONGRATSSS!!!!!", well I was a little bit shocked. She did gave me my bday wishes long back. But, I was surprised what was this congrats all about, she then says that I get my visa for 5 years. Now I was shocked.
So guys, here starts my NEW LIFE.

31st July, 2006:- It all happened in the mean time : meeting new friends who were coming with me to my university, shopping(well the best part!), having some soccer matches with friends, dance parties, movies, etc.. The day has come when I had to leave that mother land of mine, leave my family behind, friends too(well most of them would join me here), those sweet and bitter memories in the college and school.
My flight was scheduled to fly at 2:00 a.m. ( well its actually 1st of August then). I think I had the best see-off ever. Had a bunch of friends who came driving almost 120kms to see me fly. My relatives, who came travelling in a train all the way from other districts.
It was time and I had to check-In. I was actually excited but not really sad as most of the other students do. Well for me it was like Home-to-Home as I was visiting my lovely, charming and adorable cute sister back in Seatle.

Here starts my journey, into the new and different part of the world where a boy calls his father with his name rather than calling him dad, a place where people are afraid of using human labour, a place where people want every damn single and silly thing on earth to be mechanized, people are afraid of walking on the road just because another person can come and shoot you jus for $5, a place where humans dont even know what the true value of food is and they hardly enjoy their food, a place which is almost the world leader now in almost every field. Well there are many more things about this place which I dont like, but still I am here.
Its the United States of America guys. Well I always wanted to be here and finally I am.

So as the title says " MY NEW LIFE", its shortly just assignments, exams, projects, papers and a little little bit of fun once a while. Wait for my next BLOG entry to know more about this NEW LIFE.
